'SaltMarshes' started from a humble vision: to share true Neapolitan pizza with Berlin. The Bianchi family, who launched our eatery in 1985, brought to life a quaint, familial venture, infused with recipes passed down for generations.

The art of pizza creation was learned by Margherita Bianchi, our pioneer, during her explorations of Italy. She honed her craft with Neapolitan pizza virtuosos and, with a determined spirit, returned to the UK to offer a taste of quintessential Italian pizza, using age-old techniques and premium components.

Our small pizzeria, initially with just 12 seats, has evolved into a cherished fixture of the neighborhood. Nonetheless, our dedication to excellence and authenticity stands firm. We adhere to traditional wood-fire oven baking, prepare our dough from scratch daily, and select top-tier ingredients for our dishes.

Still in the hands of the 'SaltMarshes' family, the Bianchi lineage continues to guide our enthusiastic team, honoring time-tested wisdom while welcoming new advancements. At the core, our mission remains unaltered: we craft delectable, bona fide pizza to unite and delight our patrons.
